Description
The brigantine BREEZE was launched at Coromandel October 1981. Built by Ralph Sewell and his family in a traditional fashion to represent the small sailing ships plying New Zealand waters in the second half of the 19th century. Run by BREEZE Sailing Club.

The BREEZE Sailed to Mururoa and Tahiti in 1985 to protest French nuclear testing, after bombing of RAINBOW WARRIOR. Laid up at Kerikeri until 1989 when acquired by The New Zealand Maritime Museum Huia te Ananui a Tangaroa.
