Description
Wooden model outrigger vaka of Papua New Guinea style, both hull and outrigger are heavily carved and coloured with black, red and yellow pigment. The main hull bow is carved into the shape of a dragon-type creature with a ridged knobs running along ends.

The vaka has two masts and each has a ilo sail which is crab claw shape, each rigged, with decorative cut outs and fronds attached. The deck extends from both sides of the hull and is lashed platforms.
