Watercolour painting on paper of SS OTAKI (1908), and the German surface raider MOEWE (1915), 19 March 1917, by Ted Farr. 1991.

The painting depicts the sinking of SS OTAKI, following an attack by the German surface raider MOEWE during World War One, March 1917.

The painting is titled in white paint on the surface: "SS OTAKI" AND THE GERMAN SURFACE RAIDER "MOEWE", 10-3-1917".
