Wooden paddling outrigger vaka hull, torpedo shaped shallow dugout body with a puke (deck) decorated with incised carving of transverse lines and on each end triangular knobs at intervals run along the . The two parts make up the hull with the base stitched to the bales dugout below with sennit fibre based through drilled holes and secured. Without booms, sanctions of the model
