Description
An original black and white photograph mounted on card of Clyde Quay Boat Harbour and small boats at anchor. About seven small boats are at anchor, behind on the left is a concrete breastwork. In the centre, half obscured by the boats, is a barge with some type of machinery (possibly for pile driving). To the right is a low structure, either breastwork or the beginnings of a wharf. In the distant right is a large ship with three funnels and a white or grey hull. In the distance are hills. Wellington, circa 1905.
