Description
An original black and white postcard of two German seamen off the German Raider SEE ADLER who were interned on Somes Island during WWI. They are in uniform of white trousers, a dark jacket belted at the waist with metal buttons down the front. They are wearing ornate hats with the one on the left having a tufted attachment at the top. He also has insignia on his collar. Somes Island, 1914-1918
