Fabric scarf presented to Phillippa (Pip) Were to commemorate her 10 years of service with the New Zealand Shipping Corporation in 1989, the year she left the company. It bears the name of the company in red and white in cursive script on a blue background, inside a white border. Fabric is a translucent lightweight synthetic.

Has associated handwritten note by Phillippa (Pip) Were, "Scarf presented to commemorate 10 Yrs service, SCNZ - The fella's got a tie".
