Object detail

The shell is conical and sharply pointed with narrow beaded ridges spiralling from aperture to spire. The colouration is a pale yellow with light brown mottling. This shell is from a marine gastropod.
Part of a collection of predominantly Pacific region sea shells and New Zealand seabird eggs collected by Frances Shakespear.
