Part of a collection of predominantly Pacific region sea shells and New Zealand seabird eggs collected by Frances Shakespear. Possibly collected from the Snares Islands by a crew member on a voyage of GSS HINEMOA, the government vessel which supplied lighthouses and castaway depots.
