Description
Wooden model of a Korean turtle ship or Geobukseon, used in 16th-19th century. The vessel has spikes over the top and resembles a porcupine. It has a carved dragon's head with two plastic orange eyes, an orange ball for a mouth and two black pieces for nostrils. There are twenty oars sticking out from the sides with port holes all around above the oars. On the top there is a curved wooden cover with many pointed spikes sticking out. The model is varnished. There is a wooden stand attached.
