Description
Model in a bottle of the Nederland Line ship ORANJE (1938) depicted when it was in service as a hospital ship. It has a single funnel with light yellow cross on a white background. There are three similar crosses on the side of the ship within a green band which runs the full length of the vessel along the hull. The remainder of the ship is painted white. There is a mountainous island in the background with the back of the bottle painted to resemble a partly cloudy/blue sky. The cap of the bottle is enclosed by ropework painted white with small amount of red/white/blue ropework below the cap.
