Description
A set of standard playing cards in a cardboard sleeve. 54 cards, including 2 jokers. A stylised ship at sea is depicted on the sleeve and the reverse of each card, along with the name Shaw Savill Line. There is a map on the reverse of the sleeve. Acquired by Phillippa [Pip] Were during her career as a ship's radio officer with New Zealand Shipping Corporation and other lines.
