Swivelling chair with cast-iron base, upholstered seat and carved wooden back. PS WAKATERE (1896) a steel paddle steamer with 2 masts and built in Scotland and sailed from Glasgow for the Auckland-Thames goldfields run. Owned by the Northern Steam Ship Co Ltd, New Zealand.
