Description
Spare ribbon for campaign medal issued to George Davis. The first in a series of eight campaign stars instituted in 1945 to recognise service in World War II. Awarded for six months service in specified operational areas. It was issued unengraved to New Zealand service persons. The ribbon has equal stripes of dark blue, red and light blue symbolising the Navy, Army and Air Force.
