Description
Campaign medal awarded to Gratton J. (Colin) Grey.
Description: bronze six pointed star, 43mm diameter with a ring suspender and grosgrain ribbon. Obverse: the Royal cypher ‘GRI’ with ‘VI’ below; the cypher is surmounted by a crown on a circlet with the title ‘THE AFRICA STAR’. The reverse is plain. Ribbon: grosgrain, 32mm wide, pale buff with a central red stripe and two narrow stripes, one dark blue and one light blue.
