Description
Small lined note book consisting of fifty pages of handwritten and hand drawn illustrations and observations by Gerry Clark, some entries of bird observation lists, and those on last six pages of notebook in other handwriting, unknown authors listing words in Spanish against English translations of each, e.go "soltar - to let go, untie".

Entries are dated between 20 November 1983 to 29 June 1984, and include, counts of birds at various location, descriptions of vegetation and pencil sketched maps of islands; Guamblin, Gupo del Medio, Byron, Magellan Strait, Duque de York, Volunteer, John's Harbour, Quacker Island. Penn Island, Pitt Island.

Part of a large collection of written and audiovisual resources and equipment which belonged to Gerry Clark; most of which document his voyages in the Southern Ocean.
