Map of Hauraki Gulf with scale, a hand drawn illustration by Cliff Hawkins.

A handwritten annotation on the verso, reads: "60". Titled "Track of the Coromandel".

The HMSS COROMANDEL (1834) visited Aotearoa, and resident in Waihau for forty-six weeks, 23 June 1820- 18 May1821 in order to obtain timber for spars.
