Black and white glass plate photograph showing the starboard side of ZEALANDIC (1911) at sea. Note: White Star Line vessel ZEALANDIC was renamed MAMARI in 1932 when owned by Shaw Savill & Albion, and the glass plate may show either ZEALANDIC or MAMARI.

Public comments

This vessel shows the ZEALANDIC built by Harland & Wolff at Belfast in 1911. She was owned by the White Star Line. 1926 renamed MAMILIUS by Aberdfeen Line and in 1932 MAMARI by Shaw Savill & Albion Line. As White Star Line and SS &A both had the same funnel colours, it is not entirely clear whether this picture shows the ship as ZEALANDIC or as MAMARI. Regards, Kees Lous Velsen-Zuid Nederland
