Description
Shield plaque from the Pallikulo Yacht Club, 1944. For 12-footer yacht PASTIME raced by Sargeant Grimson and Sargeant Wallis. The trophy was made from aircraft aluminium and mahogany. Broken hanging chain on reverse, along with the words '"OFFARD" SHEILD [shield] / MADE SOLOMAN [Solomon] ISLANDS / 1943-1944 / R.N.Z.A. / YACHT RACES'
