Above his head are two crossed flags, the Red Ensign on the left and the British Ensign on the right. Two ships in background. Rope border. Above the image is a ribbon with the words 'T.S. MERCURY 1885-1968'. Below is a ribbon with the phrase 'MEN ARE THE SOULS OF SHIPS'. Plastic mount on reverse.
