Description
Jan is a "P" class dinghy which was designed by Harry Highett in the early 1920s as a safe craft for children to sail in. She was built in the late 1940s by Percy Vos at Auckland for Francis Holmes of Wellington. She sailed on Wellington Harbour and at Paraparaumu where Holmes appointed himself harbour-master.
