Description
Small piece of white china. Part of Lot 786 of Kelly Tarlton's collection auctioned by Webbs, November 2002. The lot was described in the catalogue as engine parts from wreck of ANJOU, which Kelly Tarlton had originally thought was GENERAL GRANT (a number of the items have GENERAL GRANT written on them). ANJOU was a French steel barque built 1899 and was wrecked at Auckland Island 1905.
