Description
A 37-foot coastal trading cutter; built in 1880 at Kirita Bay, Coromandel Peninsula by "Chips" Hunter for the Foster family, farmers in the area.

The REWA later carried firewood from Great Barrier Island Aotea, then shipped explosives from Maraetai to the Parnell Railway Wharf in Mechanics Bay for ten years.
