Description
A black and white photograph of Lambton Harbour, taken from behind St Mary of the Angels Church at Flagstaff Hill, with the General Post Office tower in the centre. In the centre are city buildings, two of which have readable signage - Phoenix Assurance Company and Sargood, Son & Ewen. There is a harbour beyond with several sailing ships either berthed or anchored in the stream. In the distance on the far side of the harbour are hills. On the lower left corner is the word "Wellington" printed in white. It is preceded by a number (possibly "350") which has been inked out. Wellington, circa 1892.
