Mid blue coloured polyester satin tie with red, patterned with red, white and blue asymmetrical stripes and small circular New Zealand Line logos, of a koru with two curled lines forming the fronds and a central red line on a black background surrounded by blue circle. Worn by Phillippa [Pip] Were during her career as a ship's Radio Officer with New Zealand Shipping Corporation.
