Description
Typed letter on light blue airmail letter from Frank Walker, Sea Point, Cape Town, South Africa to Gerry Clark, Kerikeri, New Zealand, 3 March 1986.

Letter thanks Gerry for a farewell card given when he was in South Africa "I do not know if you reached New Zealand" and hearing news about his disaster [dis-masting] and help from Marion Island boys.

Part of a large collection of written and audiovisual, photographic resources and equipment which belonged to Gerry Clark; most of which document his voyages in the Southern Ocean.
