Letter expressing "it was good to hear Gerry was safely home at last, and writing his book". Continues; describing Gerry Clark's expedition, "The trip home sounds quite heroic, also pure masochism. I would never advise anyone to go birdwatching like that (Much too dangerous!) but Gerry's story should certainly help persuade people to take much more interest in the Southern Ocean".
