Black and white photographs taken by Foss Tackaberry are secured within the album by black corner mounts adhered on black paper pages and are annotated. Subjects of photographs in the album are the Auckland waterfront and wharves between 1927-1929.
Foss Tackaberry was an engineer with the Auckland Harbour Board. He became the foreman of works on the waterfront. He retired mid 1960s but was re-hired to oversee the floating of the dredge HAPAI.
